Teak can handle pressure washing, but it’s best to use a low-pressure setting (under 1,500 PSI) and a wide-angle nozzle. High pressure can strip away the natural oils and roughen the surface.

Here’s how we recommend doing it:

Rinse with water first.

Use a teak-safe cleaner if needed.

Pressure wash gently, keeping the nozzle at least 30 cm away.

Let it dry fully before walking or applying oil.

Does Teak Wood Get Termites?
